Alice is still in the Queen’s garden taking care of her stone friend, Will. The Queen offers her help to Alice and Will in exchange for Alice retrieving some “dust” for her. The dust is on the other side of the Great Divide. Only the pure of heart can cross the divide. Alice puts her faith in her love for Cyrus and takes the first step. She is able to magically float above the divide, but the magic drops her over the middle. A young version of herself confronts her there, trying to persuade her to kill the Red Queen. When she refuses, the younger Alice dissolves into the magic dust that they sought.
Jafar takes the White Rabbit captive and demands to know who Alice has ever loved. He cuts off the White Rabbit’s foot and gives the rabbit only a minute to decide. Meanwhile, Cyrus has escaped from his cage and is fleeing the castle. Jafar uses the White Rabbit to travel to a new land to seek out the people that Alice cares for. The White Rabbit covers for Cyrus, but the real danger is in trying to escape the castle’s grounds.
When Will/Knave of Hearts and Anastasia/Red Queen arrived in Wonderland, they struggled to find food and comfort. Will steals a dress for Anastasia so that they can attend a ball in order to eat the food. Anastasia meets the king at the ball, but is soon thrown out with Will when the aristocrats discover that they are thieves. Anastasia forms a plan to steal the crown jewels and gets Will to help, but instead she meets the king in the hallway. The king is impressed by her social climbing ways and offers to marry her and make her the queen of Wonderland. She accepts, explaining how she and Will broke up.
Once the magic dust has been retrieved, Alice uses it to reveal Jafar’s hiding place for Cyrus. In an act of kindness, the Red Queen frees Will from his stone prison, but leaves before he realizes what has happened.
