Soap opera All My Children has been cancelled again, after moving online - where it went after being cancelled for a first time.
Two of the show's stars, Debbi Morgan and Cady McClain, went online to tell fans the news, TheWrap reports. Morgan told a fan, "The show is not coming back, Jane...It's so sad & just a real bummer..."
Back on Oct. 27, Morgan had originally tweeted that "the Show 'Is' coming back." She later wrote, "I guess what really hurts my gut R all the positive proclamations I gave 2 all of U that we'd definitely be back."
All My Children was originally cancelled on ABC in 2011, but was brought back for The Online Network and aired from April 29 to Sept. 2.
According to The Huffington Post, McClain echoed the same sentiments as co-star Morgan, writing on her Facebook, "If you aren't hearing anything about the ending of AMC as we know it, it's really out of shock."
McClain continued, "I am also trying to allow [Prospect Park] to have the moment to contact all the actors and explain what is and has been going on with AMC, and then gather themselves to try and explain it all to you, the fans."
Prospect Park had reportedly told McClain and other cast members that the show would be returning for another season, but that obviously has changed. Park has had legal issues with getting the All My Children and One Life to Live online and running.
