DJ Pauly D is meeting his 5-month-old daughter Amabella for the first time on Wednesday following a bitter custody dispute with her mother Amanda Markert.
The former Jersey Shore star and Markert reportedly conceived their daughter during a one-night-stand in Las Vegas and since finding out he’s definitely the father, he’s trying to get custody of her, claiming she’s unfit for motherhood and trying to get money out of him.
Markert has taken to Twitter to ask Pauly to call her, since they’re obviously not in communication. On Oct. 30 she wrote:
This is getting out of hand, you've had my number since day 1. Come bond with her any day, any time you and your family want. @DJPaulyD

TMZ notes Markert has claimed in their custody battle that Pauly’s new interest in seeing Amabella is all for show.
The same day she wrote those tweets, she told RumorFix his lawyer got in touch with hers to ask if he could take the baby for two weeks.
“Pauly wanted to pick up my daughter and keep her for two weeks, not even giving me specific locations or anything,” she said. “They didn’t even bother to ask if I’m breast feeding, what her diet is, or anything like that! All the request said is that Pauly wants to pick up Amabella tomorrow and he’ll return her November 13.”
It seems they’ve put their differences aside so that Pauly could finally meet his daughter.
