After five years, Adam Sher, CEO of Ryan Seacrest production will be stepping down.

Variety reported that Sher will retain his equity steak in the company as he moves on to produce other projects.

Ryan Seacrest productions is known for producing reality television hits like, Keeping Up With the Kardashians and The Wanted Life. Sher is credited with helping to move the production company past reality TV and for growing the company to becoming a major player in the media industry.

Sher joined the production company back in 2008 after representing Ryan Seacrest at agency WME, The Wrap added. Sher supervised all aspects of the company, which included, TV, radio and new media.

The former CEO also produced the film, My Husband’s Wife and a few series for Bravo.

Other shifts are happening within the company, it was announced that Kelly Mullens Brown will receive a promotion to president of strategy, marketing and communications for Ryan Seacrest Enterprises. Jeff Refold will add chief operating officer to his duties in his new role as COO/CFO.
