Sacha Baron Cohen is back to his old tricks, this time pranking those at the e BAFTA LA Britannia Awards on Saturday night. The newly-televised event will air Sunday on BBC America.

As he was on stage accepting an award, he pushed an elderly woman, aged 87, off of the stage in her wheelchair. He was accepting the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy when he was presented with a cane from the woman, who they said was the oldest living actor to work with Chaplin.

When Cohen, best known for his characters Borat and Bruno, started tap-dancing with the cane, he “accidentally” sent the woman flying off the stage, USA Today.

The star-studded event at the Beverly Hilton also saw George Clooney, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sir Ben Kingsley, Kathryn Bigelow and Idris Elba being honored. Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, Salma Hayek and more were there to help mark the occasion.

ABC News notes although the Britannia Awards made its television debut last year, they’ve been around since 1989.

In February of last year, Baron Cohen made headlines when he dumped an urn of ashes over Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet at the Oscars, claiming they belonged to “King Jong II,” the late North Korean dictator. He often goes to events as the character he's playing.
