Sandra Bullock has been officially announced as Entertainment Weekly’s Entertainer of the Year. The 49-year-old Oscar winner has been known for her diverse and apparent talent scoring her roles that roam every genre. This year alone, Bullock has starred alongside comedic genius Melissa McCarthy in The Heat and has been the talk of the 2014 Oscar buzz with her latest film Gravity.

Sandra Bullock is the epitome of grace and poise in Hollywood. The actress has managed to maintain a positive face in the press, while focusing on her expansive and impressive career.

According to Entertainment Weekly the star has been known for her instinctive, and flexible collaborations within her past two films.

In the interview, E! Online reports that Bullock joked about her rumored romance with co-star George Clooney, stating “I'm so embarrassed for him. It's a booty call," she said. "But then he wants the commitment and the marriage and I'm like, ‘Dude, I don't have the time.' And he's all, ‘But I'm not a one-night-stand kind of guy.' Well, then I can't."

Clooney poked fun of Bullock earlier this month at the 2013 BAFTA Britannia Awards in Los Angeles, the actor joked "Let me tell you about Sandy. Yeah, she may say that she's not all that attracted to me. But she calls every night at three in the morning drunk," Clooney joked. "'Hey George, what are you doin'?' Nonstop. And then I just send her a bottle of tequila."

When it comes down to it, Bullock is not only known as a stellar performer but also as a devoted mother. In the issue, she shared with the magazine that her main focus is raising her son, not finding romance. "If it should come along, great. But I feel like I'm not missing anything yet. Maybe one day I will. But my son is three years old, which is an amazing age. Four is an even better age. So if something happens, great, but if not, I've got plenty to do.”

Sandra Bullock is well-deserving of her newly obtained title, and it comes as no surprise that the actress is being honored for her wide range of renowned roles. The actress is joined in the magazine but 15 other Entertainers of the Year including the makers of Breaking Bad, Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Lawrence, Grumpy Cat, and more!

The December issue of Entertainment Weekly hits newsstands today, November 26.
