Simon Cowell reportedly already bought an engagement ring and is thinking about popping the question to the mother of his son on the way, Lauren Silverman.
A source close to the X Factor mentor told People, "Simon has an engagement ring, but is being secretive about the proposal. Simon is flying to the Caribbean for the Christmas holiday. Lauren will join him for parts of the holiday trip. Simon could be planning a special holiday proposal. It seems he will definitely propose."
Another insider revealed to US Weekly that "Simon's mad about her. But I think he'll wait until after she gives birth."
Simon himself even hinted that he planned to eventually marry Silverman back in September, when he told Ryan Seacrest in a radio interview, "Let's put it this way, I wouldn't expect her to be a single mother."
36-year-old Silverman is now six months pregnant, and Cowell, 54, can't wait to meet his son. "He loves feeling the baby kicking and acts very proud that he will be a father," said a source close to the couple.
