Just ten days after their engagement was announced, Survivor star Aras Baskauskas revealed that he's expecting his first child with his fiancé, Christy Peterson.

"I'm going to be a dad," he told People exclusively. "My fiancée is 12 weeks pregnant! Obviously, that's a lot more important than winning Survivor."

The singer-songwriter got down on one knee in a romantic proposal after dating Petersen, a model and clothing designer, for four years. Baskauskas revealed that his beautiful fiancé and mother of his unborn child is doing well. "So far so good, if you don't count the morning sickness," he said. "Momma and Baby are both healthy, and the little one is due in early June."

The Survivor champion is excited for the new addition to their family, saying that he's "most looking forward to having the baby fall asleep in my arms. We can't wait to meet this little soul."

Baskauskas, who won Survivor: Panama in 2006, was booted off this season's Survivor: Blood vs. Water when his alliance betrayed him on day 21 and he lost the challenge on Redemption Island.

Although he was disappointed to be kicked off the show, Baskauskas said he had a lot to come home to. "My life is great," he gushed. "Having my torch snuffed ended my Survivor life, but it was also the spark that led to a whole new one back home."
