Switched at Birth's Katie Leclerc is now engaged to her boyfriend Brian Stuart Habecost, she confirmed Saturday.
The actress told People, "We are thrilled to start our life together. We can't wait to combine families and start the adventure together."
The actress, who plays hearing-impaired Daphne Vasquez on Switched at Birth, came home to real-estate agent boyfriend on one knee, surrounded by flowers, balloons and a banner that read, “Katie will you marry me?”
Leclerc and Habecost first met at the actress' old talent agency. Habecost was an agent back then, and although he wasn't actually her agent, he was the person who encouraged Leclerc to try out for the ABC series.
"I am so in love with Brian," the 26-year-old actress told E! News. "It was so beautiful how he proposed. I could not be happier."
The couple plans to tie the knot next fall.
