Cary Elwes, who played Westley in the popular film The Princess Bride, is writing a book about his experience making the movie called As You Wish: Tales from the Princess Bride.

Touchstone will publish Elwes’ book, set for a fall 2014 release. Elwes co-wrote the book with Joe Layden, based on his recollections of filming. Also featured in the book are stories from the cast; Billy Crystal, Robin Wright, Carol Kane, Christopher Guest, Chris Sarandon and Wallace Shawn. Director Rob Reiner will write the forward for the book.

“It was a joy to work on such a magical film with an amazing cast of talented actors and friends,” said Elwes in a press release, LA Times reports.

“It will be great fun to revisit 'The Princess Bride' and to share my fond memories of the unforgettable experience we all had.”

Elwes got the inspiration to create As You Wish, which is Westley’s trademark line in the film, after getting back together with the cast for the film’s 25th anniversary last year.

The AP notes Elwes has also been in films Days of Thunder and Bram Stoker's Dracula.
