The Voice is back with the top eight vocalists who are all one step closer to be naming the “Voice.” Team Christina, Adam, Blake and Cee Lo are all ready to see who will move on in the vocal competition. Last week all of the artists charted on the iTunes charts, the competition is heating up.

Starting off the show and keeping the heat turned up was Robin Thicke who performed his new single, “Feel Good.”

First up to The Voice stage was James Wolpert who represents Team Adam. Wolpert took on a Queen classic, “Somebody to Love.” Levine commented on the performance by saying that it is a tall order for a male vocalist to sing Queen and Wolpert was unbelievable impressive. Shelton said that this performance was the best he had heard Wolpert sing so far. Aguilera added that she felt like she was watching a Broadway performance.

Tessanne Chin representing Team Adam followed Wolpert. Chin sang, “Underneath it All,” originally performed by No Doubt. Levine started off the coaches’ comments by saying that this was an amazing moment for Chin and that this performance was very well rounded. Green added that the performance was awesome and that it was a remarkable performance. Aguilera added that she got to know who Chin is under the surface and really show her roots.

Caroline Pennell, the only member of Team Cee Lo left, took the stage next. Pennell sang, “The Dog Days are Over,” by Florence + The Machine. Green started off the coaches’ comments by saying he wrote a note to Pennell, saying that against all the odds and that the only reason Pennell is alone is that she is the only thing that matters to Green at this moment. Levine said that she really moved to a new place and did that very well.

Four artists came together to sing, “One Day.” Tessanne Chin, Will Champlin, Cole Vosbury and Ray Boudreaux took to the stage to sing the Matisyahu classic.

Cole Vosbury representing Team Blake took to the stage next. Vosbury sang, “I Still Believe In You,” by Vince Gill. Shelton started off the comments by saying that Vosbury had a key emotional moment and everyone could really hear the character in his voice. Aguilera said that Vosbury’s voice really shined brightly on that song.

Matthew Schuler representing Team Christina performed, “It’s Time,” by Imagine Dragons Aguilera commented on the military inspired performance by saying that Schuler really connects and feels the songs and that he just speaks his truth. Green added his thoughts by saying that he agrees with the song and encouraged Schuler to just continue to be himself.

Caroline Pennell, James Wolpert, Matthew Schuler and Jacquie Lee took to the stage to perform, “Lego House,” by Voice mentor Ed Sheeran.

Team Adam took the stage; Will Champlin performed “At Last,” by Etta James. Levine started off the remarks by saying that there is no note, no song or competition that Champlin will not fight through. Aguilera, who had performed, “At Last,” at the funeral for James, said that it was a remarkable performance.

Ray Boudreaux followed Champlin and sang “Gimme Some Lovin.” Shelton announced that Boudreaux had swag and that was a very cool and entertaining performance. Green added to the comments by saying that he loved the high energy and the real rock ‘n’ roll vibe.

Closing the show was Jacquie Lee, a member of Team Christina, performed “Who’s Loving You.” With only a few minutes left, Aguilera said that she wanted Lee to forget everything and just sing and she did it. Aguilera echoed her love for Lee and said that she left everything on the stage. Levine said that even at her young age she is ably to convey heartbreak on stage. Green said that it is crazy and that Lee must have swallowed an old lady.

The live results will be announced tomorrow on NBC.
