You probably saw stars like Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, and Taylor Swift take home trophies at the CMAs, but if you're a fashionista, I'm sure your eyes were on the red carpet. While some celebs looked like a million bucks, others... well, let's just say, there should be a country song written to lament the disasters. Here are the Top 10 Best and Worst Dressed for the 2013 Country Music Awards.

Best Dressed

5. Lucy Hale was bright and darling in an expertly draped champagne colored chiffon halter style dress by Julien MacDonald. The Pretty Little Liars star looked to die for.

4.Kellie Pickler was the definition of classic Hollywood glamour in a chic Georges Chakra Couture gown. Kellie combined the best of old and new with her short blonde hair styled a la Marilyn Monroe contrasting her dress’ modern neckline.

3.Kimberly Williams-Paisley showed off her figure in a strapless black gown from ML Monique Lhuillier’s Holiday 2013 Collection. She achieved what many of us struggle to do in making head-to-toe sparkles look extraordinarily sophisticated.

2. Taylor Swift brought in the holiday spirit with a gorgeous embellished red satin ballgown by her usual red carpet designer, Ellie Saab. No ugly Christmas sweaters here!

1. Carrie Underwood blew everyone away in a beautiful nude Ralph & Russo Couture dress covered in sparkling rose gold crystals and tiny beads. Carrie’s sideswept hairstyle and metallic Jimmy Choo heels completed the look.

Worst Dressed

5.Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town resembled a feather duster in a voluminous black, feather covered ball gown. The bodice isn’t bad, but that skirt kills the look.

4.Chaley Rose didn’t consider fabric when she put on her sequin covered black and blue animal print gown. Had the dress’ material been less glittery and cheetah-like, we may have had a winner. The silhouette works for her.

3.Carrie Underwood may have topped the best dressed list with her red carpet gown, but not all of the ten outfits she wore during the show were quite so gorgeous. This black and white outfit, with odd cutouts and a material I can only describe as fishnet stocking, didn’t do the country queen justice. Maybe next year, Carrie should focus on quality, not quantity.

2. Hayley Orrantia took a risk, in her multicolored House of Ronald gown, but sometimes, it’s just better to play it safe. The lace red-orange top didn’t help the floral skirt that looks exactly like the bed skirt in my guest bedroom.

1. Brandy Clark doesn’t seem to be dressed for the glamorous event that is the CMAs. Her bright orange button up top with black piping and what looks like a silver tassel bib of some kind wasn’t even close to working. Without said tassel bib, this top is more suitable for the gym than the red carpet.
