Newly-married and newly-expectant mother Kelly Clarkson is learning to cook from Trisha Yearwood.
According to People, Clarkson and fellow country singer Yearwood teamed up on Yearwood's Food Network cooking show, Trisha's Southern Kitchen, on Saturday to whip up some stuffed pork chops.
“I’m thirty-one years old—I should be able to cook,” Clarkson admitted, but the "Dark Side" singer warned that, “If I screw this up, I’m sorry. I just started cooking—don’t judge me!”
While making the pork chops with vegetable stuffing, Yearwood gave Clarkson several handy tips, including using the back of a spoon to mash the veggies in order to shove more into the chops. Clarkson gushed, “You’re so much better than I am."
But Yearwood was patient with the new chef. “I’ve done it before,” she said. “Once you’ve done it, you’ll get it.”
The Tennessean reports that also on the menu during the show were a sweet and crunchy garden salad and no bake chocolate pretzel peanut butter squares.
The pair finished off the show with a duet of the song "Walkaway Joe."
