Thanks to Criminal Minds and Survivor, CBS easily won Wednesday night in both viewer numbers and in the 18-49 demographic. In fact, most shows saw slight improvements in the ratings.

CBS averaged 10.55 million viewers and drew a 2.4 in the demo, HitFix reports. Survivor started the night off stronger than last week and was up in viewers, but slightly down to a 2.4 in the demo. Criminal Minds easily won its time slot and was up from previous weeks with a 2.7 rating. CSI was also up for the night to a 1.9 in the demo.

ABC had a decent night with a 2.2 rating and an average viewing audience of 7.11 million. The Middle was up slightly to a 2.3. Back in the Game was also up to a 1.8, and Modern Family was relatively steady in the demo with a 3.8. Super Fun Night increased slightly to a 2.1 rating and Nashville also ticked up to a 1.5 for the night.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox came in third with 5.8 million viewers and a 1.7 demo rating thanks to X-Factor, which increased after suffering recent drops.

NBC was just behind Fox in both categories with 5.4 million viewers and a 1.4 rating. Law & Order was up to 1.6 and Dateline stayed steady at 1.1.

The CW saw improving numbers, up to 2.3 million viewers and a 0.9 in the demo. Arrow was up for the week to 1.1 and The Tomorrow People remained even with previous weeks with a 0.6 in the demo.
