Thanksgiving it seems is a time for family and watching primetime football, and every other show falls by the wayside.
In a reversal of fortunes, NBC won a Thursday night, TheWrap reports. The channel averaged 17.6 million viewers for the night and a 5.6 in the all-important 18-49 demographic. People tuned in to watch Football Night in America and then the main event of the Baltimore Ravens against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
CBS managed to come in second place for the evening despite airing only repeats. The network averaged a 2.1 in the demo and 7.4 million viewers.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC came in third place, buoyed mainly by Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. The network averaged a 1.2 rating and 4.2 million viewers. Charlie Brown managed a 1.6 in the rating. Lady Gaga's special Lady Gaga & the Muppets' Holiday Spectacular was anything but.
