Taylor Swift may have enjoyed her time at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Wednesday and many of the models enjoyed having her. But that’s not the case for model Jessica Hart, who said today that she didn’t think the Country star fit with the event.
While speaking with Women’s Wear Daily, the Australian model, 27, was asked if the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer would be a successful Victoria’s Secret Angel. “No,” she replied.
“I think, you know what, god bless her heart. I think she’s great,” Hart continued. “But, I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit. I don’t know if I should say that.”
Hart went on to explain that experience is a key part of their job, as with any job. “I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we’ve been working for 14, 15 years; what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself,” she said. “I think it comes with age. It’s definitely the benchmark of all jobs.”
As previously reported, Swift performed at the Fashion Show wearing more clothing than any of the models, as she sang “I Knew You Were Trouble.”
Although the special doesn’t air on CBS until Dec. 10, many of the models shared photos on Instagram, including Hart. Fall Out Boy also performed during the event.
