During the second quarter of the Dallas Mavericks' game against the Houston Rockets, Dallas' Vince Carter told Houston's Dwight Howard that he was "the biggest crybaby I know" while Howard was arguing with an official during a timeout.

Carter played with Howard for a little more than a season, and currently lives in Orlando, Fla.—where Howard's NBA career began in 2004—and has played with the big man during the offseason plenty of times. According to ESPN Carter said after the game that he and Dwight are friends, but stood strong by his original comment.

“All the time,” Carter said, talking about the frequency of Howard's complaining to referees. “He always talks about how I’m a crybaby. I was like, ‘Yo, you’re the biggest crybaby I know.’ And then later, he’s like, ‘Yo, why’d you say that to me?’ But I know Dwight. It’s all good, but he is [a crybaby].

“I mean, he takes a lot of punishment, but I’m like, ‘Yo, c’mon Dwight, c’mon,' ... You elbowed, you’re sitting in the paint the entire time. What are you whining about?’ He told me to stop crying. I was like, ‘What? Are you serious?’”

Carter wasn't the only one who got in Howard's head Wednesday night. Yahoo Sports reports that Howard was fined $25,000 for throwing the basketball into the stands toward a fan who was yelling at him.

The incident occurred with 2:54 remaining in the fourth quarter. Howard and the Rockets led 116-111 but fell to Dallas 123-120.
