Whoopi Goldberg and Ben Silverman's studio Electus have sold a single camera half-hour comedy script to ABC.
According to The Hollywood Reporter who first got the news, the show will be an interracial romantic comedy titled Iman & Andy.
The show will follow two Huffington Post co-workers who are secretly dating until a new boss figures out the truth and forces them to team up on a relationship advice vlog, where the whole world can now watch them.
"Iman & Andy is a brilliant spec script with a specific voice and point of view. Whoopi's involvement has already been profound and we are thrilled to expand our relationship with Principato Young Entertainment and ABC," Silverman said.
"I'm so excited we are doing this together. I think this is going to be fun and interesting television," followed Whoopi.
Goldberg recently went on The Arsenio Hall Show where she was shown video proof of her predicting she would do a talk show similar to The View, The Huffington Post reports.
The video clip, from 20 years ago, has Goldberg saying, "You know how Dr. Ruth talks about [sex]? Well, we were gonna talk about 'it' just amongst women. 'Cause women, amongst women, talk about 'it' different, than women and men talk about 'it' in public."
