A glitch that popped up during the East Coast broadcast of Fox's X-Factor has forced the producers to toss the votes.
Incorrect voting numbers were shown during the performance recap and so all the acts will get to try their luck again on Thursday night, Deadline reports. The Motown-themed episode will be redone in a live one-hour performance show.
Thursday night was originally supposed to be the results show, but that has now been pushed off until next week after the top 13 acts perform again.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, viewers noticed the error and took to Twitter to notify Fox producers.
Simon Cowell responded by tweeting, "A lot of you noticed there were some problems with the voting numbers at the end of the show tonight...you were right!" He added, "There was an issue so everyone has to sing their save me song live tomorrow and America will vote on that performance."
The show exec noted that "Mistakes happen. But now I have 24 hours to prepare my groups for tomorrow night. Let's hope they all deliver. Now they will know what pressure means."
