Zac Efron suffered an accident over the weekend and broke his jaw outside of his home and had to have it wired shut.
E! News, who first learned of the incident, reports that the actor claims he fell in a puddle of water outside his Los Angeles home on Sunday and in the fall, broke his jaw.
The Parkland actor also managed to suffer a nasty gash that required several stitches during the accidental fall. Due to having his jaw wired shut, promotion for his upcoming comedy That Awkward Moment, with Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan, has been delayed.
Efron has been in and out of the news over the past few months after it was revealed that the actor had quietly gone into rehab earlier in the year for addiction to cocaine.
The news only came out after sources talked to TMZ about his rehab and other sources would later say that Efron was "doing great" and "he's healthy, happy and not drinking."
He definitely seemed to be doing better as he did rounds of promotions for his new films as well as visited Machu Picchu and thanked fans in an Instagram post showing him having climbed the ruins to enjoy a stellar view.
