When a young couple decided to get their wedding picture taken in the middle of a New York City crosswalk, they probably picked the location because of the memorable backdrop. What they didn’t know was that Scrubs star Zach Braff would be walking on that same crosswalk at the same time.

Their wedding photographer, Sascha Reinking, couldn’t believe it and tweeted the picture out. At first, he wasn’t sure if that really was the Garden State filmmaker or just someone who looked really similar to Braff. Then, he decided to tweet Braff directly.

“Sir, I think you photobombed my newlywed couple the other day in New York. 🙂 Well played,” Reinking wrote.

Braff then confirmed that it was him, retweeting Reinking’s post. He then tweeted it himself, writing, “This is one of my best photobombs ever.”

Reinking wrote a blog post about how the photobombing happened. The couple was from Germany and they were already married, but wanted to have their wedding picture taken during their NYC vacation. He wrote that while he was taking the photo, he honestly didn’t even notice Braff. It wasn’t until he started looking through the files that he said “Is that Zach Braff?” And the rest is viral Internet history.

Apparently, photobombing is something Braff and his Scrubs co-star Donald Faison have down to a science. E! News noted that Faison recently posted pictures on him photobombing Tom Cruise and another with Braff doing the same to Jessica Alba and Fergie.
