Emmy winning actress Keri Russell and her husband Shane Deary have called it quits. The Americans star’s rep confirmed the news today.
Her rep sent a statement to People, confirming that the couple have been apart since early summer. “The separation is amicable and their focus is on their children,” the statement read.
Russell and Deary married on Valentine's Day 2007 and are the parents of two children; Willa, 23 months, and River, 6.
The news comes just after Russell was the victim of a robbery early Wednesday. She was awoken in the middle of the night by two burglars, who took her Macbook Air and jewelry. The alleged burglars were later arrested.
“They’re bringing my stuff back right now. When does that ever happen?” Russell told the New York Post’s Page Six while filming the new season of The Americans. “The New York City cops were awesome! Everyone is fine. Thank you for your concern.”
Her rep also sent a statement to People confirming the break-in. “Everyone is fine, and Keri sends her thanks to the police,” the rep stated.
Russell won an Emmy for Felicity and The Americans returns on FX in February.
