A tour bus coming back from a California casino crashed early Monday morning trapping over 30 passengers inside and injuring 13 people.
The accident occurred around 5 in the morning when the driver lost control while getting off the exit of the freeway said FOX News.
“The bus tried to get on the ramp to exit, but he come too fast. He can’t control the bus,” Eduardo Magana, a passenger on the bus, said.
The 30 plus passengers were locked inside the bus after the door was blocked due to the crash. Rescue personnel were able to free the driver and passengers. “The fire department had to break the glass and escort the passengers out of the door through the glass opening,” said California Highway Patrol Sgt. Grady Stevens.
11 people suffered minor injuries and two other had moderate injuries. They were all transported to a local hospital according to CBSLA.
Authorities have yet to determine what caused the crash or why the bus driver lost control.
This is not the only bus crash to happen this week. On Thursday, three other buses crashed killing two people and injuring a few dozen individuals.
