Alex Wagner's show Now is reportedly going to move to 4 p.m. on MSNBC starting in January to fill the spot vacated by Martin Bashir, who resigned earlier this month.
Now is a noon panel show that has been on the air since 2011 and features political commentators and journalists, according to TVNewser, who first reported the timeslot move.
The now-empty noon spot could potentially be taken by the recently announced show that will feature Ronan Farrow, since it currently does not have a timeslot, but is set to premiere in January.
Bashir resigned from MSNBC at the beginning of December after making some controversial comments aimed at former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
The veteran journalist was not happy following Palin's comments where she compared national debt owed to China to slavery. Bashir responded by reading aloud from Thomas Thistlewood's 18th century diaries about slavery and sais that "if anyone truly qualified for a dose of discipline from Thomas Thistlewood, she would be the outstanding candidate."
He offered Palin an apology after he resigned and she accepted, noting that it was her "role" to "accept his apology and ... move on."
