Fashion and music lovers, unite! You'll all want this on your wishlist. American designer Alexander Wang is teaming up with rap legend Dr. Dre to create a limited edition collection for Dre's company, Beats by Dr. Dre. Wang designed three pieces, including signature Beats Studio headphones, Urbeats earbuds, and Beats Pill (a portable speaker). All three pieces look sleek and chic in matte black (what else would you expect from this designer?!) and gold, and will come in a matching embossed stingray case.

"For this collaboration with Beats by Dr Dre, it felt right and a natural choice for me to give the Beats Studio headphones, Beats Pill and Urbeats earbuds a clean, minimal look with a luxe sensibility," said Wang, according to Vogue UK.

While the collaboration is a bit unexpected, it makes sense. In an interview with Women's Wear Daily, Wang expressed the importance of music in fashion; "I have always looked to music and musicians for inspiration and as collaborators because there is such a purity to their talent. Different types of music can also transform how you interpret or understand a fashion show, or film. It's creating a story and translating a message."

Wang is quite the advertising genius (in addition to being the Creative Director of high fashion brand Balenciaga), working Beats into his newest ad campaign called "exposed." The ads feature x-ray images of Wang's newest handbags, which are filled with various items including the Studio headphones from his collection. You can see the full series of images on Wang's store website.

According to E! Online, the headphones will retail at $449, the earbuds at $149, and the speaker at $299. The collection launches December 16.
