Every year the veteran journalist Barbara Walters has a special featuring the 10 Most Fascinating People of that year. 2013’s list is probably the most diverse yet with reality duck hunters and one of the most wanted men by the government.
According to The Hollywood Reporter the person who made “twerk” a commonplace theme Miley Cyrus will be featured, along with actress Jennifer Lawrence, the cast of A&E’s Duck Dynasty and NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden. Other people on the list include the Royal’s baby George, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts. Roberts chronicled her cancer treatment on ABC’s 20/20 last year, recovered, and made her return to Good Morning America earlier this year.
The Huffington Post noted Walters, as she does every year, will reveal her top pick during the annual special which airs on December 18.
Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of the Year has been airing since 1993. The View co-host also announced her retirement from TV journalism in May and will retire at an unspecified date in 2014.
