Former Breaking Bad writers, Gennifer Hutchison and Thomas Schnauz have been added to the Better Call Saul writer's room.
Hutchison is stepping in as supervising producer and Schnauz will be co-executive producing the AMC prequel, Variety reports.
Better Call Saul will follow Saul Goodman during his time as a lawyer before he eventually crosses paths with Walter White.
Schnauz has written for the CW's Reaper, The X-Files and was nominated for an Emmy for Breaking Bad episode "Say My Name."
Hutchison has been in demand since the end of the popular meth-cooking AMC show. She has also been tapped to adapt The Red Queen for Universal Pictures. Queen is based off of the forthcoming title by Victoria Aveyard.
The book is still a year away from publication through HarperCollins and it has already been sold into 16 languages worldwide.
Better Call Saul doesn't even have a release date yet, and Netflix has already closed a deal with Sony Pictures TV to stream the series. The series will go up for streaming after the season finale airs on AMC.
