Carly Rae Jepsen, the singer behind the hit “Call Me Maybe,” is headed to Broadway. She will be taking over the role of Cinderella in Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella for Laura Osnes for 12 weeks.

Jepsen will begin her stint on Feb. 4 as Osnes, who received a Tony award nomination for the role, leaves the show after a year.

"Broadway has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl and I look forward to working with this incredibly talented cast to tell this classic tale," said the Canadian-born singer in a statement, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

Jepsen, a Grammy nominee, headlines her first tour earlier this year and she’s working on a new album. She starred in Grease, Annie and The Wiz in high school plays and attended the Canadian College of Performing Arts, USA Today reports.

Jepsen isn’t the only familiar face joining the cast of Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella. Fran Drescher will play Madame, Cinderella’s stepmother. The production earned nine Tony award nominations in total and has grossed $44.3 million since it opened in January.
