Jean-Claude Van Damme starred in a viral video last month, in which he performed an epic split stunt between two trucks. Not to be outdone, Chuck Norris, who starred in The Expendables with Van Damme, performed an even more epic split for a Christmas video.
Norris upped the ante by splitting between two airplanes, while wearing his signature cowboy hat. However, because doing a split in the air isn’t enough, he added a team of skydivers balancing on his head. At the end of the video, the camera reveals that the skydivers are in the shape of a Christmas tree and the Walker, Texas Ranger star wishes his fans a Merry Christmas.
Norris’ team used the same Enya song Van Damme and Volvo used for their advertisement. That commercial, in which Van Damme actually did perform the stunt, has already been seen by 61 million YouTube users.
Even if Norris’ video is in CG, we still think it’s kind of cool. The video has been seen by 27,800 since it was posted Thursday.
The AP reports that a Palestinian comedy group in the Gaza Strip has also parodied Van Damme’s video. In their video, the cars are being pushed, since they have no gas. They hope that their video raises awareness of the problems in Gaza.
