Demi Lovato reportedly wants to turn her attention away from co-judging X Factor and focus solely on her music.
The 21-year-old “Give Your Heart a Break” singer has been on the show for two seasons, but its demanding schedule is reportedly interfering with her music.
"She plans to spend next year completely focused on her music,” a source told People. "She had a great run and a good time," but she’s ready to move on.
Lovato will be launching a tour on Feb. 9, starting in Vancouver, and will be joined by Cher Lloyd, Little Mix and Fifth Harmony.
She has previously said that despite everything going on in her life right now, she needs a break. "I will take the month of January completely off!I want to vacation! I want to watch crime shows on my DVR on my couch,” she said. “I need to do some exercising and I don't really have time to do it. I love horseback riding and never get to do that stuff, but January is my time to do all of that."
Lovato co-hosts with Simon Cowell, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio and last year she worked with Britney Spears, L.A. Reid and Cowell.
Extra notes the two-part X Factor finale will kick-off on Wednesday night.
