The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, are fans of the hit PBS show Downton Abbey, said actor Allen Leech, who plays Tom Branson.
While on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday night, Leech told host Andy Cohen that the royals were among the droves of loyal viewers.
"I was actually at an event last week with Prince William, now the Duke of Cambridge, so year-I met him last week, shook his hand," said Leech. "He actually said 'I'm a big fan of the show-only now that my wife's had a baby.’”
He added that the parents have more “down time” now that they’re parents and not going out as much, so Middleton told him,” 'I'm watching this and you're watching it with me,'” Daily News reports.
The royal couple welcomed their first child, son Prince George, who is third in line for the British throne.
