Ellen DeGeneres is denying that her marriage to wife Portia de Rossi is in trouble. On Wednesday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show opening monologue, the comedienne slammed the “ridiculous” tabloid rumors.

"It's so ridiculous to me," she said after joking about it, Us Weekly reports.

“There's not one ounce of truth to any of it. I'm very happily married,” she said. “In fact, the only thing we ever argue about is who loves who more. That is all. It really is true. And we argue if we'd let a kangaroo carry us around in its pouch for a year. I would. She wouldn't. She'll change her mind. Who wouldn't want to be in the pouch of a kangaroo for a year? Hopping around. And she’s like 'no' but anyway."

The daytime talk show host, 55, has been married to the Arrested Development actress, 40, since 2008.

Daily Mail notes DeGeneres also assured her fans that if anything big happens in her life, they will be the first to know.

“If there's anything you need to know, I'll announce it here first,” she said.
