Rappers Eminem and Kanye West have rejected offers to perform at the NFL Owner’s Party, which will take place during Super Bowl week and will be attended by 1,500 guests.

When the Marshall Mathers LP 2 rapper’s team spoke with the owner’s group about the financial terms of the deal, they reportedly wouldn’t agree to his $2 million fee, so he passed.

According to TMZ, a source said of the Yeezus rapper’s terms, "It was $1 million, plus plus plus a lot of other perks." When the owner’s group wouldn’t live up to those terms, West passed as well.

The good news is the group did settle on an artist for much less than Eminem and West wanted, HipHopDX reports.

They got Janelle Monae to perform after their dinner for $150,000. Monae won’t be the only artist hired to perform at a party throughout Super Bowl week, as DJs are reportedly going for anywhere between $750K and $1 million.
