Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade have gotten engaged.
The 41-year-old actress revealed that Wade had popped the question on her Instagram page on Saturday while showing off her stunning engagement ring.
"Sooooo this happened... #Yessss @dwyanewade," the actress wrote along with the picture. Wade also posted the same photo to his Instagram that same day according to E!Online. "She said YES!!! @gabunion."
Adrienne Bosh, wife of Heat forward Chris Bosh, wrote on Twitter: "The @MiamiHEAT Christmas party always brings great traditions and the BEST surprises."
According to the Associated Press, Wade proposed to Union before the Christmas party. The couple has been together since 2009 and their Christmas cards, which carried the name “Wade-Union Family” in the return address sticker, caused speculation that marriage was in the cards. The same sentiment was also written inside the holiday cards.
This will be the second marriage for both Union, 41, and Wade,31.
Wade is expected to publicly discuss the engagement on Sunday.
