An altered photo of former Friends star Jennifer Aniston went viral this week, showing the actress’ famous hair shaved bald.
Someone photoshopped a red carpet photo of Aniston and created a fake caption alleging to be from the actress about shaving her head to support her niece who has cancer.
“Once her hair started to fall off, she was depressed and terrified to look in the mirror. She recently asked me why she wasn't pretty like all the other girls. I didn't know how to react. So I cut my hair off for her. This Christmas I'll be her mirror,” reads the bogus post, People reports.
However, Aniston did not shave her head, even though she cut it short recently. The anonymous internet user simply used a picture of Aniston attending the 2006 premiere of Friends With Money.
Aniston’s rep has responded to Just Jared, saying, “It’s nonsense and I am not aware of any niece with cancer.”
