Carrie Underwood got some mixed reviews for her starring role in the live television special The Sound of Music Live!, but one of the stars of the original film, Julie Andrews, can’t add to that discussion because she didn’t see it.

At the premiere of Saving Mr. Banks on Monday, Andrews, who played Maria in the original, said it wasn’t a snub and she will eventually watch it.

“Alas, I did not [see it]. I had a speaking engagement and I couldn't. But my kids did record it. I'll get around to it,” she explained, Daily Mail reports.

The NBC television special drew in 18.5 million viewers, becoming the highest viewed non-sports Thursday night broadcast since 2009 for the network.

Not surprisingly, NBC has committed to another live musical after the success of the Underwood-starring event.

The original Sound of Music Oscar-winning film came out in 1965 and it was an adaptation of the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic.
