Kanye West is known for his controversial statements and rants, but his latest sees him comparing himself performing on his Yeezus tour to the risks involved in being a soldier at war or a policeman.

West talked to a radio host on Saturday and talked about the dangerous sets involved in his tour.

“I’m just giving of my body on the stage and putting my life at risk, literally. When I think about when I’m on the ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing,’ and ‘Coldest Winter’ moment, like that mountain goes really, really high,” he said, Fox News reports. “And if I slipped… You never know. And I think about it. I think about my family and I’m like, wow, this is like being a police officer or something, in war or something.”

West also talked about jeopardizing his life for his daughter with fiancé Kim Kardashian, North West. He said he hopes to let her know one day that he and Kardashian are “extremely famous” and they had to “fight for this position.”

RadarOnline notes West will continue his Yeezus tour until Dec. 23.
