Lamar Odom has received three years of probation as well as three months of an alcohol-education program in a plea deal over his DUI case.

According to People, Odom's lawyer entered a no-contest plea in court on Monday, and the NBA player was not in attendance. In addition to the probation and education program, he must also pay about $1,800 in fines and penalties.

Despite the case being closed, Odom's license will remain suspended due to refusing to take a Breathalyzer test when he was pulled over, reports E! News.

The plea deal stems from the former Los Angeles Clipper player being pulled over for erratic driving as well as being 15 mph under the speed limit on Aug. 30. When he pulled over, Odom failed his field sobriety test, but refused to take the Breathalyzer.

A source told E! News that despite the rumors, Odom and Khloe Kardashian were not necessarily going to get divorced. The source said, "Khloe is in no rush to make any decision."

Meanwhile, Odom is looking to try and return to the NBA, but first he has to find a team that is willing to take the risk and sign him.
