Lamar Odom has accepted a plea deal in his DUI case that would give him three years of probation instead of jail time. He entered a not guilty plea back in October.

On Monday, he entered a no contest plea in order to accept the plea bargain. In addition to probation, he will have to pay $1,814 in fines and undergo an alcohol education program.

E! Online reports Odom didn’t have to appear in court, as his lawyer Richard Hutton entered the plea for him.

Odom, who is married to Khloe Kardashian, got the DUI on Aug. 30. He has been rumored to have been spiraling out of control at that point, with a severe drug addiction and personal issues. His marriage to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has been on the rocks since this past summer.

According to LA Times, Odom’s license is suspended for a year since he refused to undergo a Breathalyzer test or any chemical test at the time of his arrest.
