The Little Couple's Jen Arnold has announced that she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, though she did not provide any further details.
Possibly because she is planning on having the show document her as she deals with chemotherapy and everything else, People reports.
The 39-year-old neonatologist decided to let TLC chronicle her ordeal as they have filmed the past several years of her life together with husband Bill Klein. "We have allowed our lives to be filmed because we wanted people to understand more about our condition and others who are like us," she had said earlier in the year.
A TLC spokesperson told the magazine that by chronicling her cancer struggle, Arnold hopes to educate people, "through sharing her story."
According to Fox News she told People magazine, "I have recently been diagnosed with a rare type of cancer and am currently undergoing treatment, including surgery and chemotherapy."
The cancer news has cut short the family's celebration of their successful adoption of 2-year-old girl, Zoey, from India. The couple are also parents to a 3-year-old son, Will.
the Little Couple star spoke positively about the prognosis and isn't exactly worried about surgery as she has already had nearly 30 procedures because of her dwarfism.
