Christmas has come and gone for many of us but for some it will always be a day to remember. This past Tuesday on Christmas Eve, the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston was visited by none other than Fast and the Furious star Ludacris, who participated in spreading some holiday cheer.

The Ludacris Foundation has established a sort of tradition where each year they are involved in helping bring holiday joy to CHOA patients and their families. It was in a special event such as this that Ludacris, accompanied by family and friends, was able to give Santa a helping hand. This included paying a surprising visit to a young patient by the name of Gelia Brown who was recently diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome.

According to My Fox Atlanta, Ludacris explained, "It's all about giving back. This is what the season is about. I'm very blessed, so I love to be able to give back to others."

Ludacris added, “I can't really even put it into words, when we put smiles on kids' faces, it makes my Christmas better.”

Even though the next Christmas is still months away, I believe it's fair to say that Ludacris has certainly earned a spot in next year's “Nice” list.
