Mariah Carey made an appearance on the finale of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on Sunday, where she talked about being alone for most of her difficult pregnancy.
Carey and her husband, Nick Cannon, welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe in 2011 and the “We Belong Together” singer has spoken in the past about the tough pregnancy.
"I had preeclampsia; I had gestational diabetes, a really difficult pregnancy and I was alone most of the time. We love Nick, but he's working!" she said, Xpose Entertainment reports. Host Andy Cohen even asked if they were open to more kids and she replied, “If Nick could have the babies himself, then maybe.”
According to Rap-Up, Carey also spoke about her late friend Whitney Houston as well as her new album The Art of Letting Go and her serious injury earlier this year.
She said of pushing back the album release date, “I really need people to understand what I’ve been through since [the injury], and if this were to be my last album, people would hear everything that they needed to hear, so I just needed to make that arc really clear.”
As for Houston, Carey said “God bless her. I miss her. I love her. And I know she’s where she needs to be. She blessed us with her angelic voice. She was here. She inspired everybody.”
