Miley Cyrus and former Twilight star Kellan Lutz took the same private jet from the Bahamas to Miami, Fla. on Wednesday, prompting rumors that there might be something going on romantically between the two.
They were seen exiting the plane separately, the Bangerz singer with her best friend Cheyne Thomas, and departing to separate places once they landed.
A source told E! Online they aren’t dating and “definitely not a couple." Turns out they just have mutual friends and happened to both be going back to Miami.
Lutz has been doing press for his film The Legend of Hercules in Miami while Cyrus is going to be taking the stage for Jingle Ball on Friday.
Cyrus recently told Barbara Walters for The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013 special, which airs tonight on ABC, that she only stayed with her ex fiancé Liam Hemsworth because she was scared of being alone.
“I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year," she said. "I don't ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can't be yourself."
