Miley Cyrus is responding to Joe Jonas’ recent revelation that both she and Demi Lovato got him to try smoking marijuana for the first time.
She said in an interview with the New York Times that Jonas didn’t do anything he didn’t want to do. She even accused him of trying to look “badass.”
“If you want to smoke weed, you’re going to smoke weed. There’s nothing that two little girls are going to get you to do that you don’t want to do,” she told NY Times. “I thought maybe he was saying that like it was going to make him look badass.”
Jonas wrote in a revealing essay with New York magazine that he smoked weed for the first time with Cyrus and Lovato.
"The first time I smoked weed was with Demi and Miley. I must have been 17 or 18. They kept saying, 'Try it! Try it!' so I gave it a shot, and it was alright. I don't even smoke weed that often anymore,” he wrote.
Cyrus, who doesn’t hide her love for smoking marijuana, also said "We were so young that it's actually like, 'How did you get peer pressured by me?'"
