Miley Cyrus agreed to spend New Year’s Eve at Miami’s Fountainbleau Miami Beach hotel with Pharell Williams, but she announced on Twitter that she’s changing up her plans.
The Bangerz singer, 21, is opting to perform in New York, at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest instead.
She first tweeted, “Smilers! There's been a change in my NYE plans. @RyanSeacrest asked me to perform in Times Square for #RockinEve!!” She later added, “I'm bummed I won't be in Miami wanna thank the homies @Fontainebleau 4 their support #turnupforme.”
According to E! Online, Seacrest said he will announce more performers for the show on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night.
So far, performers already announced for the West Coast version hosted by Fergie include Jason Derulo, Ariana Grande, Fall Out Boy, The Fray, Florida Georgia Line, Jennifer Hudson, Capital Cities, Daughtry, Enrique Iglesias and Robin Thicke.
Seacrest’s broadcast will start from 10pm and go through after 2am.
