Penelope Cruz is enjoying motherhood so much that she even claims breastfeeding is “addictive.” Cruz told the January issue of Allure that she had a hard time stopping when her son was getting too old for it.
Cruz has two kids; Luna, 6 months and Leo, almost 3, with husband Javier Bardem.
She told Allure, "I'm supposed to get extra calories because breast-feeding you burn, like, an extra 500 a day.”
She added, “I was breast-feeding my son 13 months, and I plan to do the same with my daughter. [Nursing] is addictive. It's hard when the day comes when you have to stop."
Cruz went on to say she always wanted a big family because of her background.
"I always knew I wanted a family because of the way I grew up. Family has always been the most important thing,” she said.
Us Weekly notes Cruz and Bardem, both Oscar winners, got married in 2010 in a private ceremony.
