Perez Hilton is set to star in new reality series, Gay Dads of New York.

The Wrap reports that Bunim/Murray Productions and OMG Productions, producers of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, are creating the show with Hilton as the center.

The show will focus on the lives of Hilton, who recently became a single father and moved to New York, as well as other single and married gay dads.

Hilton explained that the series will give viewers a look at the real Perez Hilton.

"What is your typical American family like? These days, it looks a lot like mine!" Hilton said. "I am honored and excited to bring to television a show that will be filled with love, humor and drama. What will it not be? Trashy or boring."

In an interview with New York Magazine, Hilton explained why he chose to move to New York.

"Here, I think it’s easier to make new friends, easier to find friends," Hilton said. "I want to be around intellectually stimulating people, have snooty conversations about politics. Like, I want to be smarter."

Casting for Gay Dads of New York is still in progress and the series is still under development.
