Jameson Witty and Anthony Janow have been charged for their part in stealing pieces of the Porsche Paul Walker died in from the crash site. Witty,18, even posted his stolen treasure on Instagram, bragging about his actions.
According to Perez Hilton, Witty was caught on video stealing the roof of the Porsche from the scene. Both Witty and Janow have been charged with felony grand theft, and two misdemeanors for destroying evidence and resisting, obstructing and delaying a peace officer. If convicted they could be imprisoned up to 4 and a half years.
The video can be seen on TMZ and was recorded by fans paying tribute to the actor when the two men ran to the car and started pulling off pieces. Witty was arrested soon after posting the pictures to his Instagram account but Janow fled the state soon after the video surfaced. Cops expect Janow to turn himself in soon.
Jameson Witty has since removed the photo from his Instagram.
