Monaco’s Charlotte Casiraghi, the daughter of Princess Caroline, has welcomed a baby boy with boyfriend Gad Elmaleh.
Casiraghi, 27, gave birth to their son Raphael on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at the Princess Grace Hospital Centre in Monaco.
According to Us Weekly, Casiraghi, an equestrian, is fifth in line to the throne. She’s the second child of Princess Caroline and the late Stephano Casiragho, an Italian businessman. Caroline is the daughter of Prince Rainier and Grace Kelly.
A source told People about the birth of the royal baby, "Everyone is very happy here. It is good news.”
Earlier this year, Elmaleh, 42, a comedian and actor, said "There's lots of joy and excitement. I'm at a certain point in my life where building a family is very important." Elmaleh is already a father to son Noé.
Baby Raphael is the second grandchild for Princes Caroline, 57. Her son Andrea and Tatiana Santo Domingo had a son in March.
