ABC has put in pilot orders for Sea of Fire and How To Get Away With Murder.
According to Deadline, who was first to report, both shows are serialized mystery-thrillers.

How To Get Away With Murder follows a group of law students and their criminal defense professor who all become involved in a murder plot, which naturally effects their lives. The show is from ABC Studios and Shondaland. Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers are attached to executive produce.
Variety notes that both shows come from writer-producers from ABC's Scandal, Jenna Bans and Peter Nowalk, respectively.
